About Clean Cosmetics
Clean Cosmetics was founded on a belief: true beauty is not changing one’s self to fit social norms, but maintaining a lifestyle of hygiene, care, and the right foundational habits. What started as one woman’s personal journey to heal her own skin has grown into a brand dedicated to helping others do the same.
Our story
The idea behind Clean Cosmetics was a gift from JESUS, born out of a deeply personal journey.
In my early twenties, eager to improve my skincare routine, I turned to online tutorials for guidance. In doing so, I made the mistake of over-exfoliating my skin, unaware of the damage it would cause. This broken skin barrier left my skin vulnerable, allowing dirt and debris to penetrate more easily, which triggered severe acne and persistent irritation. Around the same time, I also began experiencing noticeable hair loss.
As I worked to rebuild and restore my skin, I started paying closer attention to the small details of my daily routine, including something as simple as the water I used to wash my face. I noticed a clear difference: tap water left my skin irritated, red, and prone to breakouts, while filtered water left it visibly calmer and healthier.
That realization became a turning point. While researching solutions for both my skin and hair concerns, I recognized that the same debris causing my skin irritation was likely a contributing factor to my hair loss as well. In that moment, a GOD given idea came to me, a compact, easy-to-use water filter, designed to remove impurities before they could affect the skin and hair, something simple enough to carry and use anywhere, including while travelling.
That idea became the foundation of Clean Cosmetics: a company built on the belief that true beauty is not changing one’s self to fit social norms, but one that helps maintain a lifestyle of hygiene, care, and the right foundational habits. What started as a personal solution to my own skincare struggles has grown into a mission to help others avoid the same pitfalls, offering thoughtfully designed products that support healthy skin, healthy hair, and a more mindful approach to personal care.
